Application
Cetane number improver is an additive that can improve the antiknock performance and power performance of fuel. It is mainly used in fuels such as gasoline and diesel to improve engine efficiency and performance by changing the combustion characteristics of the fuel. Common Cetane number improvers include MTBE, TAME, ETBE, etc. These additives can effectively improve the Octane rating of fuel, reduce fuel volatility and pollutant emissions, and also reduce engine noise and vibration.
